We focus the practice of sustainable agriculture by following responsible farming techniques that preserve and protect the environment, public health, and our 3,500 ha of cultivated land. Additionally, the center-pivot irrigation system – from Valley company – used in our farm conserves the amount of water needed to hydrate our crops.
Investment
Sustainability is part of everything we do and being competitive is our starting point, but we have greater ambitions.
By investing where it matters to maintain the success of our business, Swami Agri has focused its energy on developing the most modern cold storages in West Africa.
We collaborate with the biggest manufacturers of agricultural machinery, acquiring from them state-of-the-art agricultural equipment. Our goal is to increase significantly and healthily our production of potatoes, onions and bananas.
Agribusiness
From seed to packaging, we’ve listened and we’ve learned. Now, through our brand SENI, we are accelerating the way we transform our products into chips and french fries for market distribution. We stand by the safety of our high-regulated products and the role they play in protecting food quality and safety.
Crop yields
In agriculture, crop rotation is an essential method of a sustainable farming practices. Knowing that, we always drive our practices to crop rotation ensuring soil nutrients are not depleted by growing the same crop year after year in the same field.

Development goals
Auto-sufficient
A bold new set of commitments and targets is to contribute to the auto-sufficient initiative for Senegal first, and West Africa later.
Contract farming program
We work with local farmer’ partners to improve their agriculture productions and address urgent challenges like seeds supply, soil erosion, crop and biodiversity losses.
Seed production program
We became one of the local’s largest producers of high-quality healthy seeds for local farmers. Our seed program stands on vigorous, stronger and more resistant futur plants.
Market regulation
Year by year, we ensure better and more productive crops. Thus giving us the possibility to supply the local market mainly in healthy potato and onion under the country’ market pricing regulation.
